Our Investigators
The HLI is home to 40 Principal Investigators. In the past four years, HLI researchers have consistently authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications per year, including in high impact journals such as Lancet, Nature Genetics, and British Medical Journal.
Research Themes
Our researchers use the best available technology to image and measure changes in molecules, cells, tissues, organs and whole organisms, including patients, in order to understand the link between our genes and the environment in causing heart, lung, blood vessel, and critical care diseases.
