Abstract

This Canadian genome-wide association study identifies HLA-DQB1 (rs1049213, p=1.82×10-11) as a risk factor for peanut allergy, independent of asthma, and confirms the association in a metaanalysis using Canadian, American, Australian, German, and Dutch datasets (rs1063347, p=3.67×10-23).
