ERT Freezer Monitoring Info

In the event of an alarm, the ERT member will receive both an e-mail and a page.  These will be slightly different in format, and there will be two levels to the alarm.
Alarm levels will be in the form of Warning, and Critical, and are set at different temperatures depending on the freezer.

  • Warning:  Means the freezer has increased in temperature so that it has moved into the  warning threshold area.  This could be due to a door being left open for a longer than normal period to remove or enter samples.
  • Critical:  The freezer has increased throughout the warning temperature zone and is now in a danger zone.  The freezer  should be emitting an audible alarm (if available) This should be examined immediately
  • Clear: This message means  the freezer  previous error state has been cleared.
